TMIO (too much information overload) ?

So things are getting pretty bad (and by bad, I mean tolerable). I am crashing in a study room, which is more than fine, but it has no windows. It's harder to sleep in a room with no windows than one might think. I don't understand it either. Though usually when I wake up in the middle of the night, I only fall back asleep when the sun starts rising.

Well, in any case, I'll try to get back to road trip blogging. I just haven't moved a whole lot in the last couple of days. Things were so bad I actually played video games for a large portion of yesterday. I only own Portal 2. It's SO MUCH FUN! Anyway, it's really funny in that, oh god, it's kind of like Better Off Ted, the television show with Portia de Rossi set in a company called Veridian Dynamics which engineers, tests, and produces horrific scientific inventions. (FYI and TMIO: io9 did a positive assessment of the show). Weapons of mass destruction, office chairs that increase productivity by being offensively itchy, red meat from a test tube--of which the unfortunate taste tester said: "It tastes like despair."Anyway, Portal 2 takes place in an almost completely abandoned factory. They have the funniest signs though. Yesterday I completely lost my mind while reading the following:

The dichotomy of "Remain Calm" and "Scream" really just did me in. Anyway, after suffering a really weird fucking day yesterday (which I would talk about explicitly except it was pretty inappropriate... and boring... that's a really odd combination isn't it, oh well), I was inspired to make my own sign. It's not nearly as funny, but it does help me not stab myself.
