Indiana Jones might have benefited from majoring in Biology instead of Archaeology. Why, you might ask, is this relevant? And how, you might eventually wonder, would this change anything?

Well, in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy has to enter a tomb in the Egyptian desert. Lining the ground are snakes. However, closer inspection would actually reveal that the majority of reptiles protecting the crypt are not even snakes. They are lizards, of the legless variety.

So Indiana's freak-out session was hardly warranted. And engulfing the poor lizards in flames? Not necessary.
