Donuts Pt. 1

You can't see it when you look out my window, out to the south, at my school. But there's a fog out tonight. I can see all the cars--all the illogically purchased BMWs, all the annoying all-white-everything luxury-sedans--but beyond the four story outline of a relatively quiet building, there is nothing else discernible out there.

The moon has been tracking me for the last couple of days. I've had my shades pulled against it, but for the last two nights it has managed to make it's way into an opening between the sheets I sewed together myself. The first time I was confused as to how anything could be so bright--but I shortly thereafter learned it was a full moon, and I forgave it. I forgave it the next night as well.

The moon is back again. Shortly less round than yesterday but I can hardly notice.

The moon is  set in its silence among various clouds. I imagine the wonderland that is the void separating us. "Take me with you."

"Take me with you because the land breaks us, the water buries us, and the air pushes us back into the ground to start again."
