All Matching Everything: Sewing Machine Brings Class

I'm becoming a domestic.

TODAY! I have continued working on my Colgate quilt. I keep running out of interfacing to bind the back of the t-shirt squares. YIKES! I don't know why this is bothering me, because in the past I've given up on most of my sewing projects. But not this one. I don't know if you can actually sleep under quilts, but I want to try. I have a feeling that if I have a nice quilted fabric I might finally have an excuse to make my bed.

Anyway, the quilt, I know, will take forever. I just hope it's done in two weeks when I drive back out to the east coast. Regardless, tonight I made a skirt out of this super cute cotton fabric. The hemming is a little "imperfect," but I'm trying to not let that bother me. I also made a matching headband that ties in the back. Super cute with the potential to be super preppy. Love.

I think my next small task will be to make a skirt, headband, and earrings, that match with a journal! AH! This will require a trip to Blick. But if I'm successful, I'll be able to look super intellectual and super cute as I sit in a beautiful park somewhere writing beautiful sentences.

Yea, probably not, but a girl can dream; should've been an artist, but hopefully I can settle for a renaissance lady.
