BRCA1 or 2, either way, this is new

Sometimes it's hard to study. Like late at night. I hopped into bed after taking 3 different types of sleeping pills with a good book (by good I mean it has a serif font). Started reading. Somehow I ended up sitting in front of my laptop looking up how commonly nipple discharge is a sign of breast cancer.

Yes. That's right. Somehow I went from studying, which is important, to discovering that my right nipple is capable of discharging fluid. I DON'T EVEN LIKE MY BREASTS. FINDING SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM SHOULD SHOW YOU HOW MUCH I HATE READING TEXT BOOKS.

Turns out that there are a lot of illnesses that can cause nipple discharge, and very rarely does it mean you have a malignant breast tumor. Just wasted 20 minutes googling that information and then posting the good news to my facebook.

Such is life, I suppose.

Anyway, I'm at a heightened risk for getting breast cancer at an early age, but twenty-two seems a little too young (though it does happen and it is always tragic). But I guess I could always blame organic chemistry for this... Shouldn't have stayed in lab while they were refluxing chlorobromic acid or whatever that liquid was that evaporated quickly from its bottle with three skulls on it.

I just have to hope that if my immune system could ruthlessly kill my pancreas, it could kill a tumor growing anywhere in my body.
