Huzzah! I have crossed the word threshold with my novel. It was a long and arduous journey, but somehow, I buckled down and got things done*.
Now I begin concentrating on writing a book with my dad about culture and identity. It should be exciting. I never realized how little thought people put into their own identity and the identity of others, how people just take other people for granted, so hopefully this book will become an amazing and necessary project.
*Oh they got done alright, in a really unprofessional, daresay sloppy fashion.
